The Associate of Arts in Church Leadership is a 60-credit degree that will take approximately 2-3 years to complete. Courses consist of general classes, biblical classes, and leadership classes. Additionally, this degree will fulfill the educational requirements to become a Certified Minister with the Assemblies of God.
As a Heartland student, you can cover up to 10 credits of your degree through Integrated Learning Experiences (ILEs), which means you get credit for the ministry experience you receive at Heartland.

*Our default degree options are the Associate of Arts (A.A.) in Church Leadership and Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Church Leadership. Other degrees may be offered depending on student interest. For degrees other than the A.A. and B.S. in Church Leadership, a $200 book fee will be applied to the HMC Program Fee and materials outside of books (such as digital software and instruments) may not be covered by Heartland. Please contact Brynn (email@example.com) if you have any questions about degree options. A list of NCU's online degrees can be found here: https://www.northcentral.edu/academics/online-programs/
**Note that if a student opts for a non-ministry major instead of the A.A. or B.S. in Church Leadership, they may have to look for opportunities outside of Heartland to fulfill some of the ILE requirements.
